Fun week!

We had a great week!  My mom came and visited from Wednesday until Tuesday.  It was a blast!  Brayden got to experience his first ever pedicure... well, Mommy and Grandma got the pedicures, but Brayden got to tag along with us.  Leah had a wonderful time playing with Grandma, and she has been looking for her around the house ever since my mom left.  It's pretty cute.

Poor Cavan woke up with a sore throat this morning.  He has been taking a lot of immune support, tons of raw garlic, and getting rest.  I got my first taste of what it's going to be like when he goes back to work.  Boy am I exhausted!  I think I changed around 20 diapers today, gave 3 baths, carried 2 crying babies more times than I can count, and had my first outing with the 2 little ones by myself.

Today was fresh food day, and since Cavan wasn't feeling well, I decided to try and tackle the task by myself.  Thankfully Mom C was there to help if I needed it as she had to go too.  I was pretty proud of myself, and think I did a pretty decent job!  It wasn't as scary as I thought!

Leah is talking so much.  I cannot begin to count the words she knows now.  She loves pointing out yucky things like bugs or poop (hehe) and saying, "Ewww, gross."  It is honestly the cutest thing ever.  She is constantly picking up new words.  Some of her newest words are, "camera, blanket, chair, juice, and no".  Yes, my daughter finally knows the word "no" and she uses it often.  Oh my.  She's a character all right.  She still is a Momma's girl, she loves cuddling with me and pulling my hair away from my chest so she can put her cheek on me.  She loves her snuggle time.  She has been getting breast milk daily for breakfast, and she is loving it.  I love that I can continue to provide that nutrition for her.  Even though she is not currently breastfeeding (for many reasons), she can still get the amazing benefits of it!

Brayden is doing wonderful.  I cannot believe he'll be 2 months old in just a couple days.  He's getting so big, and smiling and cooing like crazy.  He actually giggled today.. at Payton of all things.  He is such a joy, and such an easy going baby.  He still needs to work on sleeping more at night, but we're getting better.  I have started pumping at night right before bed and making him finish an entire 3oz, it seems to be helping.  He went 4 hours straight last night, the longest he has ever gone.. but then he decided to wake up every 10-45 minutes after until 7 in the morning when I finally gave up.  I know he'll get there some time.  He's such a sweetie so he sure makes up for the lack of sleep.

Enjoy the pictures!
