One and a half

Is it weird to be a little sad because I have an official one and a half year old?  Yep, that's right!  Leah is one and a half now!  She is turning into such a wonderful little girl.  Her sense of humor is one of her greatest features aside from her loving and gentle spirit.  Leah has such a kind heart.  She tries her best to make people happy, and is always sharing that gorgeous smile of her's.  I am blessed beyond words to be Leah's mother.  She is an amazing person and I love her dearly.

I don't think I have ever shared this about Leah, so since it has become a daily routine for her, I thought it's about time.  Every time we sit at the table to eat, we pray as a family.  Cavan and I have always held hands, and Leah normally starts eating as we pray.  Lately, Leah has been a little more patient.  When she notices we are praying she grabs for my hand.  She holds it the entire time we are praying until we say "amen".  Leah will say "AM-EN", and start eating.  It is the cutest thing ever.  She loves it too!

Daddy and I love you more than you'll ever know.  You are an amazing daughter, and we couldn't have asked for more.  Keep that kind and gentle spirit you have, as you make me want to better myself on a daily basis.  Your smile melts me.  Thank you for loving me as much as you do.  I love you Leah Beah.
