Balloons, Smiles, and Fun

Leah had such a wonderful birthday.  Thanks to everyone for making it so special for her.  She had a great time at her party.  I still cannot believe I have a toddler now, but all the changes are so much fun.  Leah decided 2 days after she turned 1 that walking was the way to go, now that she's old enough.  She is walking all over the house now, and hardly ever crawls unless she tumbles before she gets to something.  She has great balance and really doesn't fall much though.

I have been having a hard time eating lately.  I am so hungry, but cannot find anything that agrees with my stomach.  It is so frustrating.  I would love to just sit down and eat an entire meal without feeling sick.  I do have to say, I am so thankful I am not as sick as I was with Leah.  With Leah I was actually getting sick 6-10 times a day.  I would never feel sick without actually throwing up with her.  With this baby, I just feel sick, and haven't thrown up.  So that being said, THANK YOU Lord for having me feel this good.  It's a hard thing for me to be thankful for feeling like this, but I know it could be so much worse.

Cavan and I have our first appointment on Monday.  We get to see the baby on ultrasound and we'll find out our exact due date.  I am so excited.  I really had a feeling when I was pregnant with Leah that she was a girl. I have no idea what this one is.  I remember being very confident Leah was a girl, so maybe this one is a boy?  I guess we'll just have to wait and find out.  Enjoy the pictures!

  1. I'll put my wager in for a boy. You sound like my pregnancies. With Paige I was sick A LOT, but mostly in the morning and early afternoon. With Nathan (and this baby) it was constant feeling sick from morning to night, but I only physcially was sick 1-2 times. Can't wait to hear!
