Mom's night out!

I haven't really left my kids... almost ever.  I've never left Brayden at all, and only Leah a handful of times.  My mom's group had a Mom's night out last night.  We put Leah down for bed, fed Brayden, and left.  It was so much fun!  I made sure to be home within 2 hours of feeding him last, but I sure enjoyed the time with my friends.

Then, I received a call from my great friend, Paula.  She wanted me to come out to dinner with a few of her friends tonight.  I wasn't going to go as I was just out the night before, but I really wanted to.  I had a great time, and although I couldn't stay long, I really enjoyed it!

Cavan did amazing with Brayden.  Brayden is always crabby at night, but he did well for Daddy.  I felt great knowing he was with Daddy.  Even though he doesn't take a bottle I still am able to go out occasionally.  It feels amazing!!

Leah was super clingy and whiny today.  I am praying for a better day tomorrow as I have my Bible study in the morning.  She is such a sweetie, but enjoys being held so much.  She enjoys it more than I can do... so then she expresses her grief... loudly.  We are working on it, but it's hard when I have a 4 month old that needs to be held, and a 2 year old that needs to be held too.  Ahh!!!

She is doing great other than her occasional meltdowns.  She is nursing 2-4 times a day, and loves her num nums.  She was so funny the other day when she pulled Brayden and Daddy's shirts up and asked to see their num nums too.  She's super funny.  Enjoy the pictures!!
