Milk Machine

I feel like a milk factory.. well, I am a milk factory.  Brayden rarely goes more than 40 minutes without eating, and that's the longest he will go!  I am almost always nursing him.  Good thing it isn't nearly as painful this time around, because he has only one thing on his mind... BOOB.  I have a hard time nursing him while laying down, he seems to do better when I am sitting up, which makes night time feedings long.  He is doing wonderfully though.  His circumcision is healing so well, his slight jaundice is history, and he is eating and pooping like a champ.  Cavan has been changing every diaper since his circumcision.  I don't feel qualified enough to be touching sore man parts.  I do help, but Cavan is the main diaper changer.  Once he heals fully I won't have a problem stepping back in.

Leah is doing well.  She has meltdowns mostly when I am in the room.  With Brayden nursing constantly she doesn't understand when I can't pick her up.  Cavan got her a new bike seat.  She now sits on the handle bars instead of behind Cavan.  She loves it!  They have been taking lots of bike rides, jogging, and walks.  Leah loves being outside, so it's nice for Daddy to get exercise while Leah is being entertained.  She has been playing on the patio in her water table a lot too, Cavan just put sand in it today, so she's playing in the sand box right now.

I am looking forward to my old role as Mommy again.  I am dying to cook dinner, clean up the house, and go for walks.  I cannot wait to roll around on the floor and roughhouse with Leah.  I keep telling myself the more I relax and recover now, the sooner I can do everything I want to do.  So... Brayden and I have been hanging out in bed until I am all better.  Hopefully after the weekend I can really start doing more.

I am so excited!!!!!!!  My dad and step mom are coming to visit in 1 week!!!  We haven't seen them since October, Leah has grown so much since we last saw them!  She was just crawling when we saw them last, so it should be fun to see them interacting with her.
