Charleston!

Cavan and I were invited to have lunch on his aunt and uncle's new boat.  They were getting things ready to sail back to the islands and since they were so close we had to see it!  We were a little hesitant because we didn't know how Leah would do in the car, but we thought to give it a shot since Brayden will be here soon.

I started getting things ready the day before, and we left early in the morning.  Leah took a 30 minute nap on the way there, but for the remainder of the trip (an hour and a half), she did wonderful!  I even got to eat at my very favorite restaurant, Panera Bread.  This has been my one and only pregnancy craving.  In all honesty, I am sure even if I wasn't pregnant, I would still crave it.

Once we got to the marina Leah was happy as could be.  Luckily Cavan thought to bring her carrier so he was able to put her on his back and walk the entire way to the boat.  We met Grandpa on the dock and followed him to the boat.  Wow!  It is honestly the prettiest boat I have ever seen.  It was so nice!  Leah had so much fun exploring, playing on all the beds, and running around on the boat.  She had no fear and even would run on the mesh netting in the front of the boat... with water underneath!

We had such a wonderful time.  The trip back couldn't have gone any better.  Leah fell asleep 5 minutes into our drive and stayed sleeping until we were 30 minutes from home.  She did perfect!  Thank you Tina and Peter for a lovely lunch!  We can't wait to go on a vacation with them someday!!!
