3.5 months to go!

I know I keep saying this, but I cannot believe I have less than 4 months before Brayden is due.  It will be a huge adjustment for all of us having little Brayden join our family, but we are getting prepared!

Leah went to sleep for the first time ever Wednesday night without nursing.  She did so well.  I am so proud of her!  We ordered some organic goat's milk formula for toddlers last week, and it finally showed up.  Leah didn't drink much, but she did enjoy it.  Cavan read her a story while I rocked her.  Once she got cuddly, Cavan left and I rocked Leah for about 10 minutes.  She whined for a second and laid her head down.  I quietly walked out of her room.  Wow.. much easier than I thought it was going to be!  About 10 minutes later I heard her for a brief second, but once I checked her on the monitor, she was already laying back down.  Good girl Leah!

I am going to start doing this once a week or so, just so she is ok with not getting "milky".  It felt so weird Wednesday night not having "that" connection with her.  I was actually a little sad.  Even though I gave her a sippy with milk in it, it wasn't the same as the skin to skin contact we always have.  She did really well though, and she was so excited to get her "milky" the next morning!  I love that little girl.

I am so excited for the end of this month!  A really good friend of mine, Erin, and her baby, Autumn, are coming to visit us from Michigan!  It'll be so nice to hang out and enjoy our girls!  I was talking to Cavan last night, and with Erin coming the first of June, Ashley and Peter are coming the first of July (for annual 4th of July time together), and we'll only have August together before Brayden comes!  This summer is going to fly by!  It makes me excited and anxious at the same time.  I cannot wait, but am also enjoying my time with him in my belly!

Sorry no pictures today... Maybe later on.  Leah is currently taking a nap while I should be cleaning instead of updating my blog :)  The mom's group I am a part of is meeting at our house tonight after Leah goes down to bed.  I can't wait to see everyone!  Have a wonderful weekend!
