So the reason I haven't been updating lately is because we're expecting!!!!!!!!!! I have been SO tired and not feeling very well. Once I put Leah down for bed the only thing I want to do is go to sleep as well. I promise to update better once I am feeling up to par.
I think we're due the beginning of September. Since I am still breastfeeding Leah, I hadn't gotten my visit from Aunt Flow yet. I have always been pretty good at telling when I ovulate though, and am pretty sure I ovulated on December 10th which the calendars tell me I am 7 weeks pregnant and due September 2 (Payton's bday). I counted the weeks on our calendar and I should only be 6 weeks, but I read they add a week for pre-ovulation? Any more information you may have on this would be helpful :).
Cavan and I are thrilled, we are so excited our babies will be close (but not too close) in age. We have enjoyed being Leah's parents so much more than we ever expected, and we cannot wait to see what our next bundle of joy brings to our lives. We are truly blessed with each other.
Now about Miss Leah... Can you believe she's turning ONE on Friday???? I cannot believe my baby is already a year old. She has been an amazing blessing. I love the person she is becoming. I know I say this all the time, but she is super funny. She sure has a great sense of humor.
Thank you God for my amazing husband. He is always there to help me, guide me, and comfort me. I couldn't have imagined how wonderful he would be. Thank you for our adorable little angel, Leah. She has made me a better person and has taught me so much. I never knew you could love someone so much. And thank you for this new little blessing. I am sure there will be days of little sanity, sleep, and laughter; but I know this new baby will complete our family and be an amazing addition. Thank you!!!
I'm so happy for you and your family. I've always enjoyed reading your blog and getting to know you through facebook. I look forward to your new chapter in your life and learning from your happiness, struggles, joys and trails. Blessings!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Jen! How exciting. Our little ones will be so close in age. I wish I had more time to schedule a visit. Between work, the kids and my pregnancy I have no energy left for anything else. Enjoy this time!
