We're ready!

Cavan and I are so ready to have our "old Leah" back.  She hasn't been the same little girl we had a couple weeks ago.  She's much more crabby, still stuffy, and clingy.  I am getting tired of having to hold her and entertain her constantly.  She's usually happy to play on the floor by herself, eat toasted oats in her high chair, or happily talk to whoever will listen.  Now she's a crab cake.  I hope this is part of her sickness and not a new "phase" she's entering into!

Leah received an adorable elephant puzzle from Chuck's etsy shop Grandpa's Woodshop.  He makes beautiful wooden puzzles that will last for a long time.  Even though Leah is a little young for puzzles, she sure enjoyed chewing on the wood!  I enjoyed putting the puzzle together though!  Chuck has so many different puzzles and styles to chose from.  His work is amazing!  Thank you so much Chuck, I know Leah will love this!

Don't forget to enter the giveaway for the Nursing Necklace from Aiko Art!

How cute is this??

  1. Great blog and pics! The photos of Leah chewing on the puzzle pieces reinforces the child-safe aspect of my puzzles. They are all finished with Food-Safe Mineral Oil. Thanks again for featuring my shop.

I hope Leah is feeling better soon. Have a great weekend.

  2. Lily hasn't been sick, but she's going through the same thing with the clinginess. It's exhausting! I used to be able to do things while she entertained herself -- now I can only do them if she can't see me. Weird.

How are you, other than exhausted?
