Family Time and Doggie Fun

We had a wonderful weekend.  Leah is finally feeling better and we got to spend quality time together as a family.  We had lunch over at Dad and Mom Carlson's house yesterday with Aunt Cassie, Uncle Bryan, Great Grandma C, and Bryan's entire family.  Leah had so much fun with everyone.

On our way home we decided to check out the new dog park.  We weren't expecting much, but we were very pleasantly surprised.  It is beautiful!  Cavan waited outside the fence with Leah while I took Delko and Payton in for a quick play time.  Delko is a wimp and yelped and peed everywhere when a dog came up to him.  I thought it was pretty funny, but poor Delko was so scared.  Payton had a BLAST.  She was chasing, jumping, playing, and romping with the other dogs.  We brought the dogs twice today as well.  They really like it, and Delko is warming up to the idea.

We went on our nightly "w" tonight and enjoyed the beautiful weather.  It is so nice going on a "w" with Cavan, Leah, and the 2 pups.  When I take Delko and Payton on a "w" by myself during the day it can be very difficult.  I have the stroller and 2 leashes.  They are always twisting up their leashes, and getting all tangled.  It can be so frustrating.  I found a dog coupler in Julie's etsy shop, Alaska Leash.  It helps SO much!  Payton and Delko are clipped to one leash using this coupler.  It swivels also so they won't get tangled and it is so sturdy!  She sells so many great dog leashes and collars.  Thank you Julie for making my life a little less complicated!!

Don't forget to enter the giveaway for the nursing necklace from Aiko Art!

I am a multi-tasking!

So easy to use, and looks great too!

Our beautiful pups.

Haha, Leah had enough pictures.

The only red tree around. :)

  1. Leah is so cute in these pictures! Absolutely adorable :-) I wondered if you used a leash like that for walking your dogs, and this post answered my question. I wish I would have had one of those when I had 2 dogs. It would have made walking that much easier. I'm so glad Leah's feeling better too! I've been praying for her and you since she was sick :-)
