Grandma visits

It has been a few days. I find myself having less and less time now that Leah is getting older. Leah is amazing. She has been learning so many things. My mom came on Wednesday and is staying until next Wednesday. We have been having a great time. Leah sure loves being spoiled by Grandma!

Ever since my mom has gotten here, we have had Leah sleep in the nursery. Grandma has taken over the twin bed in her room. The first 2 nights she did better than she ever has done. Last night didn't go so well. My mom wakes me up every time Leah needs to eat, and she wanted to deal with her the rest of the time. I laughed when she wanted to take night duty, but she really wanted to. She finally learned how difficult it has been for me last night. Leah was awake every 1-2 hours... haha, that's my girl! My mom has been taking a nap since I woke up this morning!! I guess that is why you should have kids when you are young!

Cavan and I are getting our new puppy, Delko in a few weeks. I didn't want to have to pay $300-$400 to have him shipped here. I heard about this website called uship - I checked it out. It is kind of like ebay, people place bids on your "shipment" and you can accept or decline it. Mostly truckers and moving companies will try to make some extra cash on their normal routes. I had this amazing lady bid on Delko's shipment. She is a flight attendant, and is traveling from IL to Myrtle Beach.. she bid $200!! And I don't have to pay for a crate or any additional fees I would if I just had him shipped here by himself! I thought it was great!! So he is due to come in 3 weeks from today. We can't wait!
