THESE COLORS DON'T RUN
haha, I remember when my dad was in the military, Derick and I had shirts that said "red white and blue, these colors don't run".. I don't know why I always think of them every 4th
I need to make up for not posting yesterday. Extra pictures!! I was super busy yesterday cleaning and grocery shopping.. and of course taking care of Miss Leah. My best friend, Ashley, and her husband, Peter, and their puppy, Deacon, came to visit. They came last 4th of July as well, although, I was not much fun as I was very sick with "morning sickness" (ALL DAY!). Anyway.
We let Payton and Deacon play in the pond today, it was so cute to watch them. They got baths, and Leah needed a nap. We decided to go to Tanger today, Leah squealed at every passing person. Everyone thought she was adorable. Of course ;) We made a great dinner, and are just enjoying each other's company. It has been great having Ash and Peter here.
I got to talk to Derick again today. I just get so excited every time I get to talk to him. It feels so good to know he is doing so well. He is growing so much, and I actually am learning things from him, and he makes me want to do better. I love him so much. He has always been my protector, I am glad he's getting what he needs now.
Leah had a hard time falling asleep tonight, I think it is because we have company, and she doesn't want to miss out on anything. But, she's sleeping soundly right now. Have a great night, and a wonderful 4th of July tomorrow!!
