Happy 4th of July!!!!!

This is who I was thinking of the entire time we were at the beach.

What a great day! Thanks to Grandma Carlson, Cavan, Ashley, Peter, and I were able to go to the beach this morning. We had a blast! We played in the water, body boarded some nice waves, and all got a little too much sun. We relaxed after lunch, and made amazing kabobs for dinner.

We were going to go to Brodway for fireworks, but decided not to. I really didn't feel like leaving Leah again today, even though I knew she would be sleeping. We took the dogs to the pond instead, and had so much fun! Deacon actually swam a lot, for his first time, he did great! Payton had a blast chasing her frisbee and belly flopping into the water. She's such a nut! We made angel food cake, and had it USA style (haha) with blue berries, red strawberries, and cool whip.

Cavan got this humongous box of sparklers and we decided to play with them outside. It was great. We burned through a box of 240 sparklers in about 10 minutes. Cavan had an idea to burn about 100 of them at once, it was so bright we actually had to look away, and it was so hot, he had to drop it. I did manage to get a picture before he dropped it though! All in all, we had a wonderful 4th of July. Leah is fast asleep, and we are winding down. Looking forward to a relaxing day tomorrow. Have a great night and HAPPY 4TH!!!
