A party fit for a Princess.

What a better way to start your second birthday than a helping of frosting?  Leah woke up and saw that I was icing her cake.  She really wanted to try it, and since it was her birthday, I let her.  She repeated, "mmmmmm, GOOD!" about a million times.  She thought it was great!

Brayden found it hilarious his sister was eating dessert for breakfast!  He is such a happy little thing!

Leah took a nice long nap and woke up just in time to make it to her party.  She had a great time watching Nemo with Aunt Candy.  Brayden and Great Grandma Carlson had a fun time talking back and forth.

Daddy and Uncle Bryan threw 150 balloons off of the 2nd floor and Leah loved it.  She had so much fun playing with those balloons.  I think she was occupied for over 30 minutes rolling, running, crawling, and playing in the balloons.  She kept saying, "More, More, More, Balloons, More!"  She had such a  great time!

Her hair was full of static!
She got so many great presents.  She ripped right into them.  Once one present was open.. she threw it.. and was ready to open the next one.  I still don't think she knows what she got!  She was so excited!

She loved her cake!  I made it from scratch and ordered little fondant doggies that look just like Payton and Delko for the top.  It turned out so cute.  Cavan and I have been teaching her over the past couple months how to blow out a candle.  She did an amazing job!  She blew them all out!

Here are the little cake toppers I got.  Don't they look just like them??
She never gets sweets... so this was a huge treat for her.  She enjoyed it so much!  She even picked up her ice cream with her hands instead of the spoon to eat it.  Her hands were freezing!

Princess Leah.  Aunt Candy got her this adorable crown and earrings.  Leah loved them!!!  She would shake her head to make the earrings move, and she looked at her reflection every chance she got.

Aubrey enjoyed the cake too!  She liked playing with it more than anything, but she did try some!
She's such a beauty queen!  She would touch both ears to make sure her earrings were still there.  I can't believe she kept them on!

Leah and Uncle Bryan... as you can tell.. she is looking at herself in a mirror.

Happy Birthday Leah Beah!

 Dear Leah,
We have had an amazing 2 years.  You are such a special little girl to Daddy and I.  I love everything about you... more and more every day.  I love when you call me Mommy.  I love the way your nose wrinkles up when you think something is silly.  I love when you give your brother his paci and make the clicking noise we make.  I love watching you dance dance.  I love when something is super funny you always say Delko, even when he's not around.  I love how you go swimming in the bath tub.  I love how you have to tell us the color of your diaper every time we change you.  I love your sweet kisses, especially the unexpected ones.  I love how you always have to read a dog book before bed, wear a dog shirt every morning, and play with our dogs every day.  I love when you say, "ahhhhhh" when I brush your teeth.  I love how excited you are when Daddy comes home.  I love every time you pick up the phone you say, "grandma!!!!".  I love when I wash your hair and sing scrub-a-dub-dub, you always say, "dub dub" after.  I love that you still love to cuddle.  I love when we say goodnight, you always say, "night night" and occasionally throw in, "I yuv you".  I love how you would rather eat tomatoes and broccoli  than something less healthy.  I love every time you get hurt, you need us to kiss it.  I love how you think it's gross when you have a dirty diaper, "ewwww, gross" is your most common phrase.  I love helping you learn new things.  I love YOU, Leah.  Everything about you.  Way more than you know.

Always and Forever,
Mommy
