Once at the pet store, Brayden wasn't digging being in the car seat anymore, so I put him in the carrier and had Leah walk beside me holding my hand. On my list: dog food and pet spray (as Payton decided to eject her dinner on my bedroom carpet). So, picture this... Brayden on my chest in a baby carrier, Leah trotting beside me holding my hand (until she saw a dog, some birds, and the kitties), myself carrying a 24lb bag of dog food trying to not flatten my poor little baby.. laughing yet? Then, I had to stand in line behind about 7 people... good thing the pet spray was on an end cap right by the line as I had forgotten about it. Oh.. the same company makes dog shampoo.. oh.. it smells really good.. What was that? My hands are full? Oh yes, they sure are! Oh.. another line opened up? Yes!
I placed my items on the counter to pay. I paid. Oh no! I payed for 3 items.. I went in for 2! I didn't want the shampoo... oh well, I guess we can always use it. Yep.. I didn't really mean to buy the shampoo. We said thank you and went out the door juggling a bag, a 24lb bag of dog food, a 4 month old, and a toddler who thinks it's funny to run away from her mother while in a parking lot... only to get stopped by a sweet old gentleman who says, "Gee darlin', you sure have your hands full!". I smiled and raced to my car!
They sure are sweet though!
