Smiles

I used to work very hard to get a little smile out of Brayden.  Now he gives them freely.  I just love it.  He has the sweetest, most gummy little smile.  He always coo's and giggles when he smiles and it melts me.  He's such a joy and just so happy.  What a great little boy!

Leah is doing amazing.  She is saying more words, knows almost her entire alphabet (she is still working on F,J,K,N, and V), and mimics every move we make.  Today, I was getting ready to nurse Brayden and was feeling which side was more full... well, Leah was watching, and she did it to herself too!  haha!!  It was so funny, then she grabbed Daddy's chest too.  Cavan and I were laughing so hard.

I made amazing pumpkin muffins today.  They do have sugar in them, so we aren't going to eat a lot of them, but they were great!  They have a huge glob of cream cheese baked in the center.  YUMM!  It was hard getting them finished while Leah was running around and Brayden was watching me in his bouncer (eventually moving to the carrier), but I finally got them done.

Praise the Lord we are all feeling better.  Leah and Brayden were barely sick thanks to my milk.  Cavan and I had it pretty bad but we are feeling amazing now.  I hate being sick!  That was our first time in over a year, so it's not too bad.  I cannot believe Thanksgiving is so soon.. that means we get a Christmas tree soon!  I am so excited!!
