Fun with Leah

Leah was rummaging through one of our end tables in our living room and found a laser pointer.  Cavan decided to play around with it, and Leah went crazy!  It was so cute.  She was chasing it all through the house, and had so much fun.  She's a silly one!!

Tonight Leah did the most adorable thing ever.  I nursed her right before bed, like I always do, and she stood up and smiled at me after we were finished.  I was worried she wasn't tired enough, so I said another prayer with her.  Right when I said "amen" she kissed me, then smiled so softly and kissed me one last time.  She leaned into her crib and fell asleep.  What a sweet heart!  Oh I just love that girl.

I was supposed to go to a Mom's Night Out tonight.  I was really looking forward to it.  One thing people know about me, I hate driving at night.  I had so much fun at the last one, I decided to go anyway.  Once it started raining, I knew I would have a terrible time driving.  Then thunder and lightning came, and I was worried Leah would continue to wake up.  I decided to stay home, even though a big part of me wants to go still.  I love those ladies!

Cavan and I get to see Brayden tomorrow on ultrasound!  I am really excited.  We scheduled a "fun" 4D ultrasound.  They give you a DVD and pictures of the entire session.  We really wanted to do this since Brayden is our last baby, last pregnancy, and they had a wonderful Father's Day special!  I am really excited. I cant wait to see if he has my eyes, Cavan's ears, or how much he looks like his big sister.  It will be fun to get a sneak preview!!

My due date is officially 2 and a half months away.  I am getting to the anxious part of the pregnancy.  I just want to see him!!!  I know he needs to "cook" a bit longer, but I am so excited to see the little guy.  My belly is getting bigger by the day, and Brayden is getting stronger.  His kicks are really starting to feel uncomfortable!  Thank goodness we have our new bed.  I remember being pregnant with Leah and not sleeping well because of constant discomfort.  I have to say, I am sleeping great other than waking up a couple times to use the restroom.

My mom is coming for a visit on Monday.  She is staying until Friday.  I am excited to have her help for a couple of days.  We aren't going to do much as I have been really tired.  She offered to help with anything I could think of.. Secretly, I am making lists of things for her to do :)
