Fun with family!

We spent all day today together!  It was great!  Leah and I went to our Mommy and Me workout at 8:30 while Cavan played tennis and went off roading.  Leah did so well and was such a happy girl.  She fell asleep on the way home in the car.  I knew she wouldn't take her normal naps because of this.

Since we have had a snake problem in our yard (copperheads, yikes!), Cavan ordered a snake trap.  We were thinking of getting some feeder mice to put inside the trap, but couldn't find any and didn't really want another thing to take care of!  So we went to the pet store and got some crickets and frozen mice (yuck!).  Leah had such a great time looking at all the animals.  She even got to pet a cat for the first time!  She loved it!!!

Once we got home she was very ready for her nap.  She slept from 2 until almost 5!  We knew she wouldn't want to go to bed at her normal 6pm... so we decided to set up a few fun things for her to do when she did wake up.  Cavan and I filled up her pool and water table.  She had so much fun.  She just loves water!  We then took a nice long walk to the park.  Unfortunately there were so many kids at the park we decided to go back home, but she still enjoyed the walk.  We played around inside for a while on her new slide.  She just loves it.  Now she is sleeping.  She was such a joy today.  She wasn't crabby at all, and really had a wonderful day.  Makes me happy.  I hope tomorrow goes just as well!  Enjoy the pictures.
