Fun in the Sun

We have been meaning to get Leah some outdoor toys for a while.  We finally went out and got her a couple of fun toys.  She loves her new sand and water table.  She got soaking wet!  It's nice because we can have the lid on the sand while she's playing in the water, and the lid on the water while she's playing in the sand.  Although, we are debating keeping the sand at all.  She made a mess in the grass.  I knew she would have more fun throwing the sand than actually playing nicely in it.  She had fun, and that's all that matters!

We had a fun dinner over at Grandpa and Grandma Carlson's house on Friday night.  Leah had so much fun.  She had to be the center of attention.  She sure is interested in her baby cousin, Aubrey.  She's so cute signing "baby" to Aubrey.  I can't wait to see how she is with Brayden.

I went to a "mom's night out" with my Christian Mom's Group.  We went to eat and had so much fun just talking and enjoying time together.  It was my first time out by myself without Leah.  At least Daddy was home while she was sleeping.  She didn't even know I was gone. :)

I finally got the air mattress out to nurse Leah.  She has been rocked and nursed to sleep since she was born, so I knew this might be a transition for her.  Well, it is interesting.  She thinks it is funny that I am laying down with her.  Then when I can finally get her to hold still it is so much more comfortable for me.  She is confused though about not being rocked.  She is having a hard time going from laying down on the floor to getting back up to be laid back down in her crib.  Poor baby girl.  I hang over her crib, big belly and all, and hug her until she calms down long enough for me to get out the door.  It's a long process, but I am hoping she will get more used to it soon.

My belly is getting huge.  Really, it is so much bigger than it was with Leah at this point.  When people ask me how far along I am, they ask if I am having twins.  Thanks.  I am glad baby Brayden is healthy!  I am already ready for September so I can get back to my normal size again.  I am hoping to fit into my pants by the time it gets cooler out.  If I loose weight like I did with Leah, I wont have a problem.  I am so thankful we have such a healthy baby, and little girl.

Enjoy the pictures!
