Funny Story

Before I tell you all about our weekend, I have a funny story.  Leah had one of her dolls and was holding it so gently.  She handed it over to me, kissed it, and showed me the "baby" sign.  She took it back, rocked it, loved on it and was so adorable.  I told her it was just like her baby brother, Brayden.  She then went ahead and shoved her sweet little doll into her toy mailbox and laughed as she walked away.  I think we may have some things to work on, haha.

Leah had a great weekend.  We had an Easter Egg Hunt with our housing development yesterday.  She seemed to enjoy it.  It was funny to look around and see kids with 20-50 eggs in their baskets, Leah got 6.  She was so proud of her 6 eggs though!  A little boy felt so bad for her he gave her one of his eggs, so really, we have 7.  It was so sweet.

We then went over to Grandpa and Grandma Carlson's house.  Leah loves it there!  She had fun running around on the deck and stuffing her face with salad and pizza.  I was able to hold sweet baby Aubrey.  She is just so precious.  It was funny watching my toddler play, holding a newborn, and feeling my baby boy inside me all at the same time.  Life is sure going to be interesting at the end of the summer!

Cavan and I cleaned up the house today while Leah took a nice nap after church.  Now I am exhausted and Leah just woke up.  Go figure!  Have a great week... 17 weeks pregnant tomorrow!!
