I finally hit the 12 week mark in our pregnancy. I am feeling better by the day although the nights have been tough for me. After about 4pm I have been feeling pretty sick. I think it is because I have been feeling so well during the day, then I wear myself out.
Leah is still in the process of getting better. I don't think teething is helping her out much. Since she's been sick I have been nursing her 3-4 times a day. It still takes a lot out of me, but I want her to get better as soon as possible. She has improved greatly in the last couple of days.
It was such a nice weekend outside. We played around in the yard. Leah loves running around. I can't wait until we get a fence up! Daddy was blowing bubbles for her outside and she seemed to like it. She loves the outdoors!!
Bryan, Casandra, Cavan, and I brought the dogs and Leah to the beach over the weekend. This was Leah's first time being able to walk on the beach. I thought she wouldn't like the sand, but I was wrong! She loved looking for sea shells, grabbing handfuls of sand, and just walking around. She really enjoyed herself.
Cavan and I test drove a mini van... yes, I said it. I never thought I would ever drive one, but it just seems to easy. It is super practical, and oh so comfortable!! My favorite was the VW Routan.. so nice!
Leah is getting a little more strong willed. She is in the phase of testing limits. She sure knows how to throw a fit. We have done some reading and are going to try some techniques, mostly redirecting or ignoring. Let's hope it works!
Cavan and I got this gender prediction kit today. I guess you pee in a cup and if it turns green you are having a boy, and if it turns orange it's a girl. I am going to take it in the morning so it should be interesting. I guess it has a 90% success rate, but we won't be upset if it turns out to be wrong :)
