We had a nice big breakfast and played around with the pups. I took some pretty cute pictures of Leah this morning. She's such a ham. I just love how goofy she can be.
We met our new friends Leslie and her daughter Addison (8 months) at the mall. The girls were adorable together and we had many people talking to them. We even had an older lady who insisted on touching both girls. I hate that! Why do people feel the need to touch other people's babies? I wouldn't go up to a stranger's baby and touch it. Weird. All in all, both babies did wonderful. We had to get one last present for Aunt Cassie's baby shower and finally found it on the way home.
We had such a great time we almost missed nap time. Not a good thing when it comes to Leah! She didn't nap perfectly, but she's still in a wonderful mood so I can't complain.
The puppy (Brody), is doing well. We weighed him today and he weighs a hair over 3lbs. He's TINY! He's adorable though and Delko is in love. We also weighed Leah today and she weighs a tiny bit over 19lbs. She's so much skinnier than she used to be and really looking more like a little girl than a baby. Although, she doesn't have much hair.
We had an uneventful evening. I have a kitchen full of dishes and a sleeping baby. She is so sweet. I am so in love with her. I am so thankful to be with her every day. What a life.
I know what you mean about strangers randomly touching your baby. A few days ago when i took Isaiah grocery shopping an old man insisted that i stop my cart and he "woo'd" over him. He was touching his hands and legs and telling me that i was sooo lucky. I wasn't sure if i should take it as a compliment or if i should be completely disturbed. With all the horrible things i have been hearing on the news lately about little children its hard not to be weirded out.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you had such a wonderful day with Leah!
