Last night Cavan and I were having her walk back and forth to us. She actually made her first couple steps by herself. We even got it on camera. She was so proud of herself, the screams and chants from Mommy and Daddy helped a little (hehe).
Cavan and I went grocery shopping tonight. I was very excited to have his help! I normally put Leah in the Ergo carrier and go at it alone. I hate putting her in the shopping cart. I can honestly say I have done it once. I used our little shopping cart cover and gave her some toys and treats, and she didn't last but 10 minutes. I always carry her while shopping. It not only eases my mind about her falling, or me having to walk away from the cart, but it exercises my back muscles! Carrying 20lbs on your front for over an hour isn't as easy as it sounds, nursing that 20lbs while grocery shopping requires even more talent (I have done that many times!).
I worked with the dogs a little tonight. Delko now knows how to shake. Payton practiced her stay command. Leah and Cavan played on the floor next to us. She was messing with the laundry basket tonight, it was pretty cute. Well, off to relaxing for me. I hope you enjoy the pictures.
