Want to know what new things are coming? Well for one.. Leah is getting her first teeth! Can you believe it!?! At 8 months she finally has the beginnings of teeth. You can even see how pearly white they are, 2 perfect little teeth on the bottom row. I wondered when she was going to get them, and the last few nights she has been more fussy. Yesterday they decided to show a little bit. I am excited, sad, and worried all at the same time. Excited that she finally has teeth. Sad because she will never have that gummy smile anymore. And worried because she still nurses every 2-3 hours.. yikes! Any tips on teaching babies not to bite?
We are also going to start testing some home made products from Etsy. I cannot wait! So - stay tuned for some AWESOME new things coming out. It should be tons of fun! And don't forget to sign up for my first blog giveaway.

This is what Payton looks like when we are cutting up chicken, ahahahaha
Payton looks just like Jade when I cut up hot dogs. LOL! I don't have any advice on how to keep Leah from biting, but my mom did say that if she does, don't yell!!! My mom has known some babies that won't nurse ever again cuz the mom scared them from yelling or jumping. Not good...
ReplyDeleteJen - Here's my advice on the teething while nursing "problem". Don't do anything. As her teeth grow in, she will learn to adapt to them. It may take a couple weeks for her to learn how to nurse with her new teeth, but generally the transition is easy!

Thanks so much for the advise! They haven't broken through yet, but I can see them. I think they'll be poking through by tomorrow. I can tell she is a little uncomfortable right now because she'll latch on, then pull off, latch on, pull off.... until my letdown happens. She's always been pretty gentle, so I have faith it will go well. Thanks again!!
