Green Beans!

What a nice relaxing weekend! Cavan got up with Leah around 6 this morning, and since she was starving (so she said) I fed her around 6:30. We have to keep her up on Sunday mornings from 6-7, then she goes down for a nap from 7-9. This way she is awake and happy during church. Her normal morning nap is 9, but this works well for us.

Leah was so funny in church this morning. Her new noise is growling.. she sounds like a little lion, the most adorable lion I have ever heard! She was growling, jumping, blowing, laughing, and hugging throughout the entire service... at least she was happy!

We came back home and Leah took a nap. I actually fell asleep for a good hour. It felt really nice!! Once Leah woke up I made some green bean baby food for her. I put some organic green beans in her Beaba Baby Food Maker.. they must have turned out wonderful because Leah seemed to like them! That was her first time eating green beans, so I was impressed.

We went for 2 "w's" today, the dogs sure love it! I thought to give Leah a little oatmeal tonight before bed to see if that would help keep her full longer (although she has been doing great at night, only waking up around 2am to eat and fall right back to sleep). She didn't know what to think of it at first, but I added a little organic strawberry yogurt to it.. she thought she was eating candy or something. She ate 4 tablespoons of oatmeal! Good girl Leah!! She nursed a bit longer tonight, which I was thinking it would be the total opposite, but I was happy. What a connection that gives Leah and I. I just love it! She is getting to the age though when she wants to eat, she knows where it comes from. She will grab my shirt, pull it down, and have a little feast. I think its pretty funny. She always knows how to make us laugh!
