Busy Busy Busy

Leah is a busy bee. She has places to go and people to see. She is constantly getting into everything, and we have made a rule about having dog toys out... If Leah is in the room, the dogs don't get their chewies or toys. Once Leah goes down for a nap, the dogs can play. Rough for the dogs, but easier for us and my sanity!

On Friday we had to get my car window fixed (it popped off track), so we rode around in the jeep all day. It is pretty funny trying to get Leah in and out of it. We drove over to Mom and Dad's and brought the pups... 3 people and 2 dogs in that jeep was a little snug, but fun. I love how much Cavan loves his vehicle.

We had a nice day today, we cleaned up a bit, visited with Bryan and Casandra, and helped blow up balloons at the church. Leah did really well. We went for an extra long "w" tonight. The dogs loved it!! Cavan and I played skip-bo again, it is becoming a nightly ritual. It is not as relaxing anymore now that Leah can move around, we are constantly taking cards out of her hands. She doesn't appreciate it much. :)

I got to talk with Derick yesterday. I sure miss him. When someone talks about "home", I always think of Derick. He is where home is, or home is where he is. I am so glad he is doing so well, and cannot wait to see him in 6 weeks! Yes, if you did not know, we are visiting October 13-19th. We are so excited!
