Today is a big day for us! Leah is officially 6 months old. I cannot believe it has been 6 months since she was born. In some ways it seems like just yesterday, in other ways, I don't remember my life without her. She has truly been a joy, and a wonderful addition to our family. I have learned many things in the last 6 months, but here are my top 10:
1) I never knew how much I could love someone I just met.
2) Sleep is a privilege.
3) I am a vending machine of milk (it requires no money either)
4) Showers are no longer than 10 minutes on a good day.
5) My body looses weight very quickly, yay!!
6) Keeping up with housework, dinners, and taking care of a baby is harder than it sounds.
7) I can change a diaper with my eyes closed, yes, I am that good!
8) God really loves us more than I ever realized.
9) Motherhood is more than I expected.
10) Cavan and I are a great team. I love him so much.
I posted some photos my great friend Paula Player took when Leah just arrived home from the hospital. It amazes me how much she has grown!
