Laundry is done, house is cleaned, Payton is walked, Leah is fed and sleeping, and everyone is happy. What a great day. Leah and I took a nice nap together today. I just love cuddling with her. She was so funny today, she found out she can squeal, and she's really good at it! She is talking and babbling more and more. I just love hearing her "words". For the most part, she had a wonderful uneventful day. I could tell her gums were sore today, she wouldn't eat well, and was a little fussy. A friend of mine suggested these homeopathic teething tablets, and I think they really worked. Of course I tried one before I gave one to her, and it was tasteless, maybe a little hint of sweetness, and it dissolved the instant it touched my tongue. Leah nursed without fuss tonight, and went right to sleep.
Every night I pray with her while I am feeding her. I pray she will rest comfortably, wake happily, and she will wake up as often as she needs to eat... that is a challenge for me sometimes, I would like sleep, but I also want her to be comfortable. So, sacrificing my sleep with my prayers for Leah, is OK. Cavan and I are so blessed, we really have such a happy baby.
Grandma Ditmar is coming in the morning, so we need to get some rest. Have a great night, and I will post pictures tomorrow!!!
