Could she drool any more???

Today started like any other day.  Leah was up for good around 6am, this is when Daddy takes her until she has to eat again... I get to sleep a little longer.  It's so nice!  Cavan headed to work, and Leah and I read books, sang songs, and ran some errands.

I noticed something different about her today.  She is drooling so much more!!  She totally drenched her pj's that she had on, and slobbered her arms, hands, and face.  She was also quite crabby this afternoon.  I think this is the start of the teething phase.  She is chewing on anything she can get to her mouth.  It's so funny when she thinks she is holding something, and brings nothing to her mouth and tries to chew on it.  She's a goofy girl.

I think her mouth was really uncomfortable, she usually doesn't want me to hold her while she sleeps anymore, but today she took 2 naps in my arms... I loved it!

After Cavan got home we had dinner, attempted to play skip-bo , gave Leah a bath to calm her down, and went for a "w".  We cannot say the word "walk" in our house.. Payton gets too excited.  She hasn't caught on yet... I am sure we will have to call it something different some day.

Leah is now sleeping, she didn't nurse very long so I am sure she will be up in an hour or so.  She was exhausted tonight.  I hope she sleeps well!
Daddy and Leah playing tonight, they were playing airplane and shoulder rides.. she loved it, and also loved chewing on Daddy's hands!

She liked gnawing on the duckie.

Yummy Duck!!

I don't know if you can see the extent of her slobber in this picture, I think you can click on it to make it larger... she was a mess!

  1. The drool phase is always interesting. Fashionable bibs become a must sometimes. :) Leah is so beautiful and I always like seeing your new pictures in facebook and love reading the stories here. You've inspired me to be more faithful with my blog.

  2. Haha, thanks. I would love to see your blog sometime. I can't force myself to put an ugly bib on my baby!
